Phil, his wife Suzanne, and daughter Rachel moved to the Galena area in June of 2004. He noticed how people wave and take the time to say hello, which reminded him of the area where he grew up. The Gabel's felt Jo Daviess County would be an ideal environment to raise their daughter.
Being a people person and after a career in sales and construction, Phil decided to take real estate classes at a local college and received his brokers license in May of 2004. The following year he felt the need to use his creative spirit and started Haven Builders. His clients benefit from his expertise in both home construction and the real estate market.
In his spare time, you may see Phil on a golf course, hiking with his family, helping with the many volunteer organizations in the county, or tending to his garden and yard.
